MOUNT CHARLES FOUNDER - TREVOR ANNON BIO

Trevor Annon is the Founder, Owner and Chairman of The Mount Charles Group, Ireland’s largest indigenous catering and business support services provider.  Trevor founded the business in 1988. He had previously been working at executive level for the two multinational catering companies dominating the NI contract catering market, and identified that a gap existed to create a locally owned contract caterer to actively compete in the market.  Mount Charles was born.

In a highly competitive market Trevor was successful in winning several contracts in his first months of operation, thus demonstrating his entrepreneurial skills.

Trevor also identified an opportunity to offer additional services and the company is now a multi service provider, offering catering, cleaning, security, facilities management, events, beverage services and vending to clients covering a range of industry sectors. This year the company expects to generate £35m in revenue and will be employing in excess of 2000 staff.

Trevor was Chair of the crime fighting charity Crimestoppers for 12 years and was also an independent Board member of the Irish Football Association from 2007-2013. He is now the Chair of the National Football Stadium in Belfast, the organisation which has delivered and operates a world class stadium for international football in NI.
