The hands-on approach of the BWG team has been invaluable to our operations, and we deeply respect their proactive and supportive attitude. The food industry has faced significant challenges in recent years due to inflation and supply chain pressures. Throughout these turbulent times, BWG has remained transparent and fair with pricing adjustments. In certain cases, they have gone the extra mile to identify alternative suppliers when pricing or availability posed a challenge, demonstrating their flexibility and dedication to customer satisfaction. |
Henderson Foodservice
The last 12 months has been incredible for the business with turnover in November 2024 up 10.1% on 2023 to £224m along with 9.4% increase in volume for the same period. We have won 593 new independent accounts, 269 new accounts in the Republic of Ireland and some big multiple business. We've invested heavily to ensure our customer service continues to lead the way in the sector with our 2024 Service Outbound Product Level an astonishing 99.2%, an increase from 2023 which was 98.7%. Using data and insight, we have continued to enhance our ecommerce to make it easier for our customers to search, compare, choose and order, including content quality, dynamic new menus and downloadable information relating to invoices, credits, order history. As a result, new web purchasers have increased by 35% YTD vs last year, with engaged sessions onsite increasing by 32% year on year. User Conversions increased by 38% compared to the previous year. We have also seen a 60% increase in online sales overall, 77% amongst independent foodservice operators and weekly sales online are now five times what they were pre-pandemic (£2 million per week). |
