Podium finish for IFSA/CATEX golf team at annual Trinity Purchasing and PREM Group charity golf day

​The IFSA / CATEX Golf Team achieved a podium finish at the annual Charity Golf Day, hosted by Trinity Purchasing and PREM Group on Friday, August 13th. The event was organised in support of their nominated charity, Beyond the Moon. 

The sun shone down while 25 teams arrived at Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort, Co. Wicklow, before playing 18 holes of golf, all for a great cause.  Golfers set aside their friendly rivalries to enjoy a delicious BBQ on 10th, and network over refreshments on the course.

European Tour winning professional and Tulfarris Hotel and Golf Resort touring professional Simon Thornton was also there on the day. Simon positioned himself on the first tee box where he took out his driver and drove off with each team providing a brief glance at how the pros play the game. Simon was appointed as the touring professional at Tulfarris Golf Club in November 2017.

An incredible €10,000 was raised between players and sponsors, all in aid of Beyond the Moon - offering families with a seriously ill child the opportunity to enjoy a memorable, cost-free vacation in a child-friendly environment and to spend carefree quality time together, far away from hospitals and treatments.
