Serving up Sustainability and Innovation at CATEX

​Next February, Ireland’s largest foodservice & hospitality trade event – CATEX – will open its doors at the RDS Simmonscourt, Dublin, providing thousands of visitors with products, services and solutions that meet today’s demands for those operating within the foodservice and hospitality sectors.

Taking place from Tuesday 21st to Thursday 23rd February 2023, CATEX offers a unique opportunity for Ireland’s leading players and membership organisations in foodservice and hospitality to come together under one roof for an action-packed three days. Created by IFSA (Irish Foodservice Suppliers Alliance) and managed by EventHaus, CATEX 2023 is once again supported by industry stalwarts, Bunzl Mcloughlin and Calor. 

Commenting on plans for the 2023 event, the new Chair of IFSA, Alan Cruite, General Manager of Trinity Purchasing Ireland, part of the Avendra Group, an affiliate of Aramark, comments: “In 2021, we organised CATEX in record time – in just 12 weeks – and I’m incredibly proud of my colleagues in IFSA for stepping up and offering a platform and event for our industry to come together during an incredibly difficult time. CATEX  2023 will build on the event’s rich history of celebrating excellence within the industry. Home to world-class competitions, culinary food demonstrations and industry expert speakers, the event is once again supported by its industry partners – Chef Network, Panel of Chefs and Speciality Coffee Association (Ireland chapter).

The future of food, drink and hospitality, sustainability and predicting new industry trends, are the key themes throughout the event. It’s the essential platform for exhibitors to promote their products and services directly to industry buyers, and for visitors, to source new products, generate new business and learn about innovative trends set to shape the Irish food and drink industry over the coming years.
