 The Department of Health has released a list of 37 venues throughout the country that will be used to administer the COVID 19 vaccination over the coming months.
There will be at least one vaccination centre in every county in the Republic, with bigger counties like Dublin having several centres to better service the local population.  The Minister for Finance, Paschal Donohoe has said the public finances are still within the overall budget published last October.
However, he said if current programmes to support incomes and businesses during Covid-19 are extended "well into 2021" then "much or all" of the contingency funds set aside will be used up.  The Tánaiste has said he hopes legislation on quarantine hotels in Ireland will be published next week.
Leo Varadkar was speaking after Britain's Health Secretary said the UK is to introduce tighter border controls next week against new variants of the coronavirus, requiring hotel quarantine for arrivals from high-risk countries.

 The High Court has ruled that four pub owners are entitled to be compensated by insurer FBD for the disruption their businesses suffered due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mr Justice Denis McDonald found that a policy sold by FBD covered losses the pubs sustained by having to close due to the global health emergency.  If the Covid 19 infection rate in New York State remains at current levels, restaurants in New York City will be allowed to reopen on Valentine's Day, February 14 - with a 25 percent occupancy rate.
